Watching this clip sure brought back some memories! This was a great storyline and Y & R still puts out the greatest storylines ever!
Tricia shoots Ryan, who dies. Ryan was Neil’s best friend. Watching Ryan die was the thing that started Neil down the road to alcoholism.

She was one of those characters that I just loved to hate!

This is the YR we know and love.. the CLASSICS! Victor breakin’ that glass was funny.. the lawyers take too long to get clues.
Also, please (if you can, if the videos are not out of date) get more classic Y&R clips from the late 70′s/early 80′s. Particularly the Laurie Brooks/Vanessa Printess feud. This character (Vanessa) is probably one of the most forgotten villians in the history of that show.
To me, Vanessa Printess would be the blue print of what was yet to come on Y&R as far as future storylines dealing with villians & psychos LOL!!!
This was the last great storyline for Y&R, with the late great Bill Bell’s touch to it or the way we use to know it. The show today, has definitely lost it’s basic format or appeal IMO.
And Trisha McNeil (IMO) was more interesting, more clever, crazier and dangerous than both Shelia and Phyllis put together. Some of you might say no way, but Trisha has actually killed people (3 men), Shelia & Phyllis only plotted to kill and never succeded LOL!!!
