Maybe that IS the source of the disagreement - maybe you, in part, worship the building and maybe most others don’t see the building as ’sacred’. Protestants traditionally don’t have holy oils. We have communion bread and wine (or grapejuice) but we could put them in any container and be just fine with it. The container (the building) isn’t the important part to many Protestants. A church is not only a “gathering of people” its a bulding that houses the Eucharist, the Holy Oils etc. It’s a place of respect.

goskinsgo, your attacks on people who disagree with you are to the point where they don’t really make any sense. Everyone learned in Vacation Bible School each summer as a kid that church is the community of believers, not the building. alibabahck said nothing about socializing like a community club. Why don’t you try a real dialog instead of slamming with comebacks that don’t make sense?

goskinsgo, the church is not a building but it is the gathering together of other christians to fellowship with God. In this video there is a gothic style building but no church. In fact one wonders if it was ever used for the church at all. Who are you defending God or worthless tradition? Your swearing advocates neither.

Entering the aisle actually with a choreography would be interesting. And obviously something my family has never done. I like that this couple was so original. Not traditional, breaking the rules a little, but heck, it’s their weding.
