I Luv This Movie and Toni Collette but i was wondering why LOGO shows it if there are no gay roles in it. Is It like Fried Green Tomatoes about the power of female friendships?
absolutely love this film all i want to do is smoke now after watching it! i dnt even smoke!!! muriels crying face makes me cringe every frickin time.havnt seen that film in years AMAZING!!!!
………….. l LOVE her mom. lt’s horrible what bums 4 kids she had. & her prick of a spouse. As he said what goes around comes around. What an ADORABLE looking & sweet lady. Her submissiveness, sweetness, & adorable face reminds me just of my aunt. She’s not as dense or dumb but outside of that, she’s very similar to her mom.
……everyone of her mate) & practical ways to manifest ur desires in this universe. 2 get what u want from the universe! & the universal law of attraction. lt’s a wonder The Secret was written in Australia!
l LOVE Murial. Toni looks better to me here chubby than she does now. Yes she’s older but she looks more youthful. ln the awkward sex scene, l unfortunately am just as goofy & shy laughing. Unless l’m drunk then l’m a bit cooler & more relaxed.
This was such an excellent, tragic, sad, hilariously funny classic. This film not only is encouraging & honest in showing that if u leave ur crappy small minded village & the prick ass holes who surround u, u can accomplish a WHOLE lot as she did in Sidney!!
This film is also a perfect example of visualization, vision boards (as l have) acting & speaking out what u want (as Murial did in the wedding gowns & telling…..
I love this movie! Muriel just wanted something so bad in Life, and she done what she had to do. But in the end she came clean and cleared all her lies…. and the people who cared about her understood and accpet it. A definate look at moments in our life… Its how we rise above things that we choose.
The characters in the film all had choices to make and chose to live their lives that way, if they had muriel’s courage it would of been a happier ending for all but sadly everyone is different and has their own path to follow.
Besides life is unfair and both good and bad things happen, that’s why I love this movie so much – it’s realistic!
