Princess Bride – The Wedding

One of my favorite movies. This is the first of several clips from the movie. See also: “Battle of Wits”, “Anybody Want a Peanut” & “My Name is…”.

The priest at my grandfather’s funeral sounded just like this. It was all I could do to stop laughing.

Next time I’m giving a toast at a wedding, I am totally starting with, “Mawiage”.

This movie ruined all marriages for me, I can’t even think of this concept without remembering his pronunciation MAHWIDGE!! (if you haven’t seen The Princess Bride, you should!)

I’ve been commissioned to perform this for a future wedding. Love it so very much.

@mynameistomilk lol! xD

Going to church wouldn’t be so boring if that guy was preaching… problem would be not to laugh =P

omg. he talks like my cross country coach. rofl xD

The priest is Terry Jones, from Monty Phyton (the mother of Brian in the life of Brian).

If there’s been a better cameo in a movie, I haven’t seen it. Frickin’ brilliant from the legend that is Peter Cook.

Awesome!!! Just Awesome!!! LOL

Ah. Folks asking what movie this is makes me feel so old…so very…old.

I told my fiancee a long time ago that the only way I would get married is if we can find a priest just like this one. We’ve been engaged for 7 years now.. : P
